I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English and Elementary Education. I received my Master's in Education from Concordia University, with a focus on the inclusive classroom. I have learned how to help students with exceptional needs in the general education setting, and how to differentiate instruction to meet all students' needs!

I have worked for two years at Village Glen West, a school in Los Angeles for students with autism. I began teaching fourth grade at Butler in 2011, so this will be my 5th year of teaching 4th grade at Butler!

My name is Erin Jeffries and I am a 4th grade teacher at Butler Elementary in Fort Lupton, Colorado. This is my fifth year teaching in the Weld Re-8 County School District and I can't wait! I graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2011 with my BA in English and Elementary Education, and completed my student teaching semester in Denver. I spent two years in Los Angeles working in a private school for students with autism, which has given me invaluable experience and has helped me grow and learn as a teacher! In May of 2013, I married the love of my life, Nathan Jeffries in a ceremony in Broomfield, Colorado. We moved back to Colorado, and currently reside in Erie. I love Colorado, and am so glad to be back. My biggest passion is for teaching and for learning! Outside of school, I also love to sing, scrapbook, read, sew, and play with my dog, Jacqueline.  I am enjoying every minute of the experience of cooperative learning with my students! :)
