Standard Response Protocol Community Trainings

A uniform, action-based response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders, and safety threats is the foundation of a safe school and community. Join us to learn how our shared emergency language keeps students, staff, and first responders safe.

Hosted in District Partnership with: Dacono Police Department and Fort Lupton Police Department

Five convenient district-wide sessions with morning and evening options:

Monday, August 24, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Butler Elementary School

Tuesday, August 25, 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, Twombly Elementary School

Wednesday, August 26, 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Fort Lupton High School

Thursday, August 27, 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, Fort Lupton Middle School

Monday, September 14, 5:30 PM to 7:00, Homyak PK-8

HOLD "In Your Room or ARea"   

SECURE  "Get Inside. Look Outside Doors"   

LOCKDOWN "Locks, Lights, Out of Sight" Secure classrooms for active threats inside the building.

EVACUATE  "To Named Location" - Moves occupants safely from one location to another.

SHELTER "Hazard & Strategy" - Personal and group protection against severe weather or spills.
